This role will support the monthly accounting processes for Hamilton Lane and all its subsidiaries. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
  • 2-4 years accounting experience
  • SEC/public company reporting experience preferred
  • Experience in multi-currency accounting a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly communicate
  • Aptitude for accounting and reporting systems required.
  • Familiarity with consolidated financial statements
  • Excellent general accounting skills required and knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience with SOX 404 compliance efforts
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and take initiative in resolving problems and making recommendations
  • Must be highly disciplined, results-oriented and self-motivated
  • Strong organization skills. Ability to multi-task, and meet established deadlines
  • Ability to analyze financial information with a meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel required

Responsibilities

  • Maintain general ledgers.
  • Manage and monitor daily cash transactions, report cash operation activities, apply cash policies and procedures in a timely manner, and process the deposit of cash receipts or disbursements.
  • Responsible for month-end closing including preparation of accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, closing journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and revenue and expense analysis for corporate entities and global subsidiaries.
  • Prepare various account/bank reconciliations.
  • Responsible for ensuring all documentation exists and is maintained for internal control purposes.
  • Provide materials to external auditors for annual audit of corporate entities and subsidiaries.
  • Special projects as assigned.
