About The Position

This is a TEMPORARY / SEASONAL position paid at the district's minimum hourly rate for Groundskeeper. The primary responsibilities include event set-up, tear-down, assisting with facility needs during all stadium events, completing work orders for repairs, and general stadium cleaning and upkeep. The District’s Facilities Team will support this position by cleaning the stadium after events. The stadium manager works only on days when an event is scheduled and does not report to work on days without events. The position requires reporting two hours prior to scheduled events (two and one-half hours prior to varsity football games) and staying until 30 minutes after the event. Events include scrimmages, contests, meets, or tournaments, but not practices or rehearsals. Duties also include opening and unlocking locker rooms, entrances, and the press box, putting out signage, and turning on the scoreboard and stadium lights for events.

Responsibilities

  • Event set-up and tear-down

  • Attains proficient or higher evaluations on established Performance Standards
  • Reports two hours prior to any scheduled event (two and one-half hours prior to varsity football games) and stays until 30 minutes after event.
