About The Position

This job is a civilian position and does not require military service (including commission and enlistment). The Stadium Assistant will assist in the coordination and supervision of outside events occurring in Falcon Stadium, Press Box, and East Club, including setup, breakdown, and event coordination. This role supports events and facilities preparation/maintenance, including snow removal. A primary responsibility will be Audio Visual support for private special events at Falcon Stadium, including attending AV run-throughs and supporting event operations such as equipment and space setup/take-down and cleaning. The position also involves supervising Falcon Stadium, the press box, and the East Club in the Kucera Legacy Center for USAFA-sponsored events like Graduation, football games, lacrosse games, and football recruiting. Additionally, the assistant will help maintain stadium requirements and field maintenance, support football operations as needed, and provide Audio Visual support, which includes testing AV systems, loading and testing images/videos in Brightsign, attending AV run-throughs, and supporting AV needs during events.

Requirements

Must be able to operate a multitude of snow removal equipment (pickup trucks w/plow, tractors, snow blowers, shovels, squeegees) for clearing snow and ice on concourse levels, stairs, sidewalks, field, etc.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must successfully pass a background investigation.
Random drug testing is required.

Responsibilities

Assist in coordination and supervision of outside events in Falcon Stadium, Press Box, and East Club.
Manage setup, breakdown, and event coordination for outside events.
Support events and facilities preparation and maintenance, including snow removal.
Provide primary Audio Visual support for private special events at Falcon Stadium.
Attend AV run-throughs for private events.
Support private event operations, including setup/take-down and cleaning of equipment and spaces.
Supervise Falcon Stadium, press box, and East Club in Kucera Legacy Center for USAFA-sponsored events.
Assist in maintaining Falcon Stadium requirements and field maintenance.
Support Football operations as needed.
Test AV systems in advance of meetings and events.
Ensure images and videos are loaded into Brightsign and tested for quality assurance.
Attend all AV run-throughs to ensure run of show plans align with system capabilities.
Support events requiring AV assistance as needed and directed.
