About The Position

The Ideal Tridon Group is seeking Stacking Operators for 3rd Shift to join their team at Wesanco in Smyrna TN. This role operates in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing setting that may be loud and contain dust and debris. The operator will perform various tasks involved in bagging/boxing operations, including setting up and operating bagging machines, handling parts and materials, and packing parts using hand tools and various packing materials. Safety procedures, proper handling of finished parts, and quality checks are essential. The job may require overtime, a flexible schedule, reporting early, working late, and weekends.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with strong aptitude for operating machinery.
• Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to clear drug screen and background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach to perform work.
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Ability to talk and hear.
• Ability to stand, walk and/or sit and reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to occasionally climb stairs, drive vehicles, and operate equipment.
• Ability to lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Must wear required hearing and/or eye protection.

Nice To Haves

• Hi-Lo Certification preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
• Responsible for quality inspection.
• Operate power forklift.
• Responsible for correctly warehousing/storing finished goods.
• Assist with any other manual labor tasks as needed.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures to avoid injuries.
• Provide quality checks as determined.
• Proper handling of finished parts and products to avoid injuries or damage.
• Follow all operational instructions when operating or using tools and equipment.
