Stacking and Banding Operator - 2nd Shift
About The Position
Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing setting that may include dust and debris and can be loud at times. Perform various tasks involved in bagging/ boxing operation including but not limited to setting up and operating bagging machines, handling parts and materials, packing parts and other related activities using hand tools, various type of packing materials. Must follow all applicable safety procedures to avoid injuries including requests for help from co-workers. Proper handling of finished parts and products to avoid injuries or damage, follow all operational instructions when operating or using tools and equipment. Provide quality checks as determined. Job may require overtime and a flexible schedule, reporting early and working late, including weekends. Schedule: Monday - Friday Shift: 2nd 3:30pm - 12:00am
Requirements
- Excellent verbal communication skills with strong aptitude for operating machinery.
- Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to clear drug screen and background check.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Hi-Lo Certification preferred, will be trained, and certified on the hi-lo.
- 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
- Responsibly for quality inspection
- Will operator power forklift
- Responsibility for correctly warehousing/ storing finished goods
- Assists with any other manual labor tasks as needed.
