About The Position

The Stacker Operator is responsible for measuring finished sheets for accuracy, removing non-conforming materials, and monitoring the stacker process to prevent jams or errors. This role involves communicating quality concerns, managing scheduled side trim, and ensuring proper unit stacking. The operator will also insert tie sheets, set optimization modes, and report mechanical issues to the supervisor. Safety is paramount, requiring the operator to wear all necessary personal protective equipment, follow company safety rules, and maintain clean work areas. Additional duties include counting and stacking finished product and reading orders.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to read a measuring tape and ruler
  • Warehouse and/or manufacturing experience
  • Stable and verifiable work history

Responsibilities

  • Measure finished sheet for accuracy
  • Feedback quality concerns to control room or wet-end operators
  • Remove non-conforming materials from stacker
  • Remove scheduled side trim for baler
  • Monitor stacker process, preventing jams or errors
  • Place splice waste, etc., in scrap carts
  • Monitor unit stacking, preventing errors
  • Insert tie sheets for multiple outs
  • Set optimization mode for required orders
  • Communicate mechanical issues to supervisor
  • Operate stacker safely
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment
  • Follow all company safety rules/procedures
  • Keep work areas and surrounding areas clean and free of debris
  • Lift up 50lbs during shift
  • Counting and stacking finished product
  • Reading orders

Benefits

  • Sign-on Bonus : $500 after 30 days, $500 after 6 months
