About The Position

The Stacker Labor employee is responsible for stacking, organizing, and preparing packaged product for palletizing and further processing. This position supports continuous product flow, packaging efficiency, and workplace safety while maintaining compliance with Tyson policies, food safety standards, and procedures in a fresh food manufacturing environment. The work environment is a fresh plant environment where employees work directly with packaged fresh product in temperature-controlled environments and must adhere to strict food safety, sanitation, and contamination prevention standards. Employees are required to wear PPE, including gloves, hairnets, and protective footwear, and work in cold, wet, or humid conditions typical of a fresh plant environment.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior production, packaging, or stacking experience preferred
Ability to follow stacking patterns and instructions accurately
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong commitment to safety and food safety standards
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions
Ability to lift, carry, and stack product as required
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Stack packaged product onto pallets or designated staging areas according to specifications
Ensure proper stacking patterns, alignment, and stability of product loads
Monitor product flow to prevent backups, damage, or mis-stacking
Remove damaged or defective packages from the line and report issues
Maintain clean and organized work areas around stacking and palletizing stations
Assist with pallet changes, slip sheets, and load preparation
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene requirements
Comply with OSHA regulations and Tyson safety policies
Use proper lifting techniques and safe material-handling practices
Communicate effectively with line operators and supervisors
Perform other duties as assigned
