About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Stablehand to join our team. The Stablehand will assist with the daily care of horses and maintenance of the stables to ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our animals. This role operates on an 11am - 7:30pm shift.
Requirements
- Must be reliable and dependable.
- Capable and comfortable working with and around animals of all sizes.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma / GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily care of horses and maintenance of the stables.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment for the animals.
- Monitor physical fitness and health of barn animals, report accordingly to management.
- Care for barn animals by providing feed, fresh water, and clean spaces.
- Perform daily inspection of animals for soundness and/or appearance.
- Communicate with performers accordingly when it pertains to barn animals.
- May require cross-training in other areas of the production department.
