Stabilization Interventionist
About The Position
CBEM is hiring a full-time, hourly Stabilization Interventionist to provide in-person support in Sacramento, California, and surrounding counties. CBEM supports individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring physical and mental health disorders through prevention, acute and chronic crisis support, training and skill development, family and caregiver support, and Regional Center integration. The role provides crisis support and implements strategies and interventions developed by CBEM’s Critical Intervention Specialist. The position reports to the Program Director and pays $29.61 per hour, with opportunities for quarterly bonuses.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or Applied Behavior Analysis.
- California driver’s license in good standing.
- Insurance for driving.

Responsibilities
- Provide support to individuals experiencing preventative, acute, or chronic crises.
- Implement strategies and interventions developed by CBEM’s Critical Intervention Specialist (CIS).
- Consult with a psychiatrist, BCBA, and psychologist.
- Participate in clinical trainings.
- Participate in and/or facilitate interdisciplinary planning meetings.
