About The Position

Pereview Software is seeking a detail-oriented, methodical, and visionary SQL/Reporting Developer with a drive for accuracy, quality work, and an innovative mind. The ideal candidate will have the ability to multi-task, exhibit a sense of urgency by prioritizing appropriately, and be process-driven with an appreciation for detail. This role requires an independent worker who can work individually with little supervision, but also as part of a team. The candidate should be passionate about their craft, their life, and the impact they can make in a growing organization. This position is for developers looking to create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge, with a background in data and business analysis. The candidate should be analytical and an excellent communicator, with business acumen and problem-solving aptitude.

Requirements

  • SQL development
  • Experience in MS SQL Server
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.
  • Ability to interact well with user base, development teams and other technical teams.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to handle high pressure situations with minimum direction.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing in Reporting application, e.g. – SSRS.
  • Experience developing Power BI (reports and datasets).
  • Knowledge of dashboard/visualization and best practices.
  • Experience in Real Estate preferred.
  • BS/BA in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.
  • 5+ years of BI / Analytics / Reports development experience.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Design and develop custom data analytics solutions (SSRS, Power BI, HighCharts, SQL stored procedures)
  • Works with clients and management to resolve issues and validate reporting requirements.
  • Analyze and resolve SQL data gaps, errors, anomalies, inconsistencies, and redundancies.
  • Support clients with data integrity checks and reconciliation activities.
  • Participate in development projects including user sessions, requirements gathering, and development of functional specifications as required.
