About The Position

AIR Communities is hiring a SSC Central Rent Clerk to join their centralized operations support team in Denver, CO. This is an in-office position, Monday through Friday, offering a consistent schedule with evenings and weekends free. The role is ideal for someone seeking their first corporate office opportunity.

Requirements

  • High school education.
  • 1-2 years of related experience in data entry and customer service.
  • 1-2 years of customer service or administrative experience (retail, hospitality, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize multiple software applications and data entry systems.
  • Dependable and proven ability to work independently.
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Property management experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Posting and processing rent payments accurately.
  • Recording receipt of payment and charging applicable fees to the appropriate ledger.
  • Printing final account statements, deposit refunds, and mailing them appropriately.
  • Interacting with current/past residents and/or community teams to answer questions or resolve collection-related issues.
  • Partnering with the Collections department on special projects or assisting with final account statements as requested.
  • Supporting the annual renewal process of operational licenses for properties and processing renewals within the budgeted month.
  • Monitoring and ensuring accurate posting and reconciliation of assigned accounts.
  • Monitoring receipts.
  • Preparing and recording financial transactions.
  • Analyzing, researching, and resolving exception items.
