About The Position

Join Our Team as an SRNA/CNA Clinical Nurse! Location: Princeton, KY Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift (40 hours per week) We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated SRNA/CNA Clinical Nurse to join our team! Requirements

  • Nurse Aid, Medical Assistant or similar medical certification
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience working in a medical or clinical setting preferred.
  • Must have a valid drivers license.
  • Willing to submit to a background check and oral drug screen.
  • Ability to assess, organize and plan; demonstrated skills in problem identification and problem solving.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and work independently under general direction.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Ability to function as a team member.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with staff, patients, community partners and more.
  • Computer literate and capable of operating an EMR.
  • Constant interpersonal skills, teamwork, customer service, reading, speaking, writing and understanding English, and problem analysis.
  • Frequent creativity, mentoring, presentations/teaching.
  • Frequent decision making and independent judgment or action.
  • Frequent keyboarding, sitting, standing, hearing and talking.

Nice To Haves

  • Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist providers in the examination and treatment of patients.
  • Perform lab technician duties.
  • Ensure an exceptional level of patient care.
  • Interview patients and record vital signs (e.g., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height) in patient charts.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and assist providers during patient examinations and treatments.
  • Administer medications as directed and document administration in the EMR system.
  • Clean and sterilize instruments, restock medical supplies, and inventory/order necessary materials.
  • Assist with lab specimen collection according to lab standards.
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical histories, family and social histories, and medication records in the EMR system.
  • Verify patient demographics and other data for accuracy.
  • Coordinate with providers to ensure all organizational quality standards are consistently met.
  • Maintain Basic Life Support and CPR certification per Red Cross or American Heart Association guidelines.
  • Ensure treatment areas are clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
