Sr Wireless Systems Engineer

QualcommBridgewater Township, NJ
$122,500 - $183,700

About The Position

Over the past 40 years, the Systems Research Department of Qualcomm Technologies Inc.’s Wireless Research and Development has conceived key innovations in wireless communication systems, including 3G CDMA, 4G LTE, 5G NR, and Wi‑Fi 802.11, and is now driving the evolution toward 6G. We are seeking innovative engineers who develop a deep understanding of complex problems through thoughtful, data‑driven analysis and then shepherd solutions from the lab to real‑world deployment. This role focuses on end‑to‑end system design, standardization, and performance optimization for cellular technologies, with increasing emphasis on AI/ML‑driven wireless innovation. The candidate will contribute to the research, design, and development of advanced wireless features across the PHY, MAC, and network layers, including system modeling, algorithm design, and standardization contributions within 3GPP.
