One of our Clients in Huntsville, AL needs a Sr VTC Administrator for a permanent position. Position Summary The Senior VTC Administrator will provide VTC and multimedia operational support within the USASMDC G6 area of responsibility. The position will operate, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot secure and unsecure integrated and Microsoft Teams-based VTC endpoints, multimedia systems, suites, and large-display systems. The Senior VTC Administrator will also coordinate VTC scheduling, support pre-conference preparations, provide user training and onsite operational support, and serve as a technical resource to Action Officers and customers.
Requirements
- Experience administering, operating, configuring, and troubleshooting VTC systems.
- Experience with integrated audiovisual and multimedia systems.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Teams-based VTC environments.
- Experience with audio/video equipment and large-display systems.
- Experience with VTC scheduling and conference coordination.
- Experience providing onsite technical and operational support.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with Action Officers and senior customers.
Responsibilities
- Operate, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot secure and unsecure VTC systems.
- Support Microsoft Teams-based VTC endpoints and multimedia systems.
- Support integrated VTC systems, multimedia suites, and large-display systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot: Automated touch-control systems, Audio/video switching and distribution equipment, Video cameras, Digital and video playback sources, Video projection systems, Computer-controlled digital displays, Audio amplification and speaker systems, Telecommunications systems.
- Support Windows-based workstations used with VTC and multimedia systems.
- Utilize web-based scheduling applications, SharePoint, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Coordinate with Action Officers to understand meeting and conference requirements.
- Advise customers on available VTC and multimedia capabilities, equipment setup, visual aids, and venue limitations.
- Perform pre-conference preparation and verify all required equipment is operational.
- Provide onsite operational support or remain on standby during conferences and events as required.
- Provide user training on VTC and multimedia systems.
- Coordinate and schedule VTC and conference reservations.
- Ensure VTC reservations contain accurate dates, times, locations, and site information.
- Recommend improvements to VTC operating procedures and capabilities.
- Communicate and coordinate requirements in accordance with applicable DoD, Department of the Army, and USASMDC policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with other IT support functions when higher-tier assistance is required.
