About The Position

The Sr. Vice President Commercial Sales – Healthcare Services is an executive leader responsible for defining building and scaling the commercial sales strategy and organization for SelectQuote’s Healthcare Services portfolio. This includes SelectRx pharmacy services and other healthcare solutions serving payors providers health systems and risk-bearing entities. This leader will design and execute the end-to-end commercial go-to-market model including segmentation value proposition sales structure channel strategy partnerships and revenue growth. The role will build and lead a high-performing national sales organization focused on driving adoption of SelectQuote’s healthcare services delivering measurable value to clients and accelerating enterprise growth. Importantly this role will operate as a player-coach – personally leading sales efforts developing executive relationships and closing strategic deals particularly during the early stages of commercial build-out. This role requires deep expertise in healthcare services sales pharmacy solutions payer/provider economics and complex enterprise deal cycles.

Requirements

  • Proven success as both a senior sales leader and individual enterprise seller
  • Demonstrated ability to build markets and generate early wins
  • Deep expertise in complex solution selling to payors and providers
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy services value-based care and healthcare cost drivers
  • Exceptional executive presence, negotiation and relationship-building capabilities
  • Ability to translate clinical and operational value into financial ROI for clients
  • Data-driven sales leadership with experience in forecasting and pipeline analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to scale teams after initial direct selling phase
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Healthcare Administration or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare sales, commercial strategy or business development
  • 7+ years in senior commercial leadership roles

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the enterprise commercial sales strategy for SelectQuote Healthcare Services including SelectRx and adjacent service lines
  • Develop market segmentation, ideal customer profiles and target account strategies across payors, providers, health systems and at-risk entities
  • Establish value propositions and solution positioning aligned to client, clinical, operational and financial outcomes
  • Identify and prioritize new market opportunities, distribution channels and partnership pathways to accelerate growth
  • Personally originate, develop and close strategic enterprise opportunities especially in the early phases of market expansion
  • Serve as executive seller on priority accounts and complex deals
  • Build C-suite relationships across payors, providers and health systems
  • Lead RFP responses finalist presentations and executive negotiations
  • Establish key clients and early wins to accelerate market adoption
  • Recruit, build and lead a high-performing commercial sales organization including enterprise sales account management and sales operations
  • Own pipeline development, forecasting and revenue attainment across all healthcare services offerings
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles including pilots and multi-year strategic agreements
  • Drive contract negotiations with payors and providers to maximize long-term value creation
  • Establish scalable processes for pipeline management deal governance and revenue reporting
  • Represent SelectQuote at industry conferences and forums to drive growth and market credibility
  • Direct ownership of commercial revenue performance across Healthcare Services
  • Personal sales quota in early phases evolving to full organizational quota ownership as the team scales
  • Responsibility for sales forecasting, pipeline development and revenue attainment
  • Input responsibility for sales, budget, compensation, design and GTM investment planning
