About The Position

About You and Your Roll at Jump: Experience: You have 4–8 years of direct experience designing software applications for web and mobile. You must be able to contribute directly to the product and design across one or more feature areas. Design abilities: You can design beautiful, intuitive experiences. You’re open to feedback, and you can create flows that guide users intuitively through their tasks while accounting for micro-interactions along the way. Speed, & intuition: We move quickly as a product organization, so you should have an instinct for what makes a feature worth designing (i.e., customers need it) and what the minimum is to ship a quality experience. Design System & UX Patterns: You're familiar with and respect design systems. We want consistency across the entire app experience so you must be able to understand and use our existing design system and patterns, and feel comfortable proposing adjustments when needed. Requirements

4–8 years of direct experience designing software applications for web and mobile.
Experience working from and contributing to a design system.
Ability to prioritize designing what is crucial over all else.
Ability to design beautiful, intuitive experiences.
Open to feedback.
Ability to create flows that guide users intuitively through their tasks while accounting for micro-interactions.
Instinct for what makes a feature worth designing (i.e., customers need it) and what the minimum is to ship a quality experience.
Familiarity with and respect for design systems.
Ability to understand and use our existing design system and patterns.
Comfortable proposing adjustments to the design system when needed.
Availability during normal work hours (closer to 40 hours is better).
