About The Position

This position serves as a key liaison between XML schema development for the Federal Register and Congressional Record and the XPub Horseshoe application used by PrePress staff to create, edit, and publish XML documents. Improving the user experience and workflow for document editors, ensuring Horseshoe effectively supports XML markup, validation, and correction activities. Collaborate with business stakeholders, XML schema developers, and software engineers to translate publishing requirements into intuitive application functionality while leveraging knowledge of XML technologies, document publishing workflows, and enterprise web applications. Experience with Microsoft Blazor, C#, LINQ-to-XML, and REST-based architectures is highly desirable.

Advanced Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) experience
Web design experience
UI/UX Research and requirements gathering
Figma prototyping
HTML coding skills and prototyping

5+ years recent experience as a Senior Developer
