About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled TIG Welder with a minimum of five years of hands-on welding experience in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of TIG welding processes, blueprint interpretation, and precision fabrication techniques. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of producing high-quality welds that meet company and industry standards for safety, quality, and productivity.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Strong ability to weld thin-gauge and precision components.
  • Proficiency reading blueprints and weld specifications.
  • Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Ability to pass a TIG welding test during the interview process.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workmanship quality.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • AWS welding certification preferred.
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes.
  • Multi-process welding experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, and other alloys as required.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, weld symbols, and specifications.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and tolerances.
  • Perform fit-up, grinding, and finishing operations as necessary.
  • Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper preventive maintenance is completed.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve fabrication issues.
  • Meet daily production schedules and quality expectations.
  • Document work completed and maintain accurate production records.
