Requirements

5+ years in related discipline or; A combination of education and experience equivalent to above
Troubleshooting mechanical or electrical problems
Electrical and electronic principles
Read and understand engineering plans and specifications
Read drawings and troubleshoot
Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

Support test setup, preparation and execution of full-scale outdoor crash tests in accordance with ASTM 2656, ASTM 3016, and MASH standards
Assist with test execution, including operation of barrier drive systems and coordination with Barrier test team
Perform post-test activities including cleanup, site reset, and preparation for subsequent testing
Maintain, inspect, and repair barrier infrastructure, test equipment, and support systems to ensure operational readiness
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and data collection problems with test equipment and measurement devices.
Support setup of high-speed cameras as required for specific test
Follow all safety protocols and ensure safe operation of equipment and test environments
