About The Position

The Sr. Technical Sales Engineer will be a key contributor to Sundyne’s growth by helping customers adopt Sundyne’s broad equipment portfolio. This role combines comprehensive deep technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and customer engagement skills to develop value propositions that address customer needs and support profitable business growth. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple technologies while developing deeper expertise in rotating equipment applications. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative global team focused on customer value, technical excellence, and business growth.

Requirements

  • 6 or more years of experience in sales, technical sales, technical service, engineering, or equivalent industry process operations.
  • 6 or more years of experience with hydroprocessing, renewables, rotating equipment, or related process industry applications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical sales support in customer discussions, aligning Sundyne equipment solutions with customer needs, applications, and business objectives.
  • Apply product knowledge of API centrifugal pumps, API centrifugal compressors, and diaphragm compressors to position fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Develop and promote targeted value propositions that clearly communicate technical differentiators, customer benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Collect and share customer, market, and competitor intelligence with business development, product line, project development, and offering teams.
  • Support new product and solution launches by identifying target customers, developing opportunity-specific business cases, preparing sales strategies, and delivering technical presentations.
  • Partner with sales, product line, engineering, technical services, legal, marketing, and other internal stakeholders to support customer opportunities and drive profitable growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams to support long-term business development.
  • Support cross-Honeywell synergy initiatives and complete assigned actions that advance strategic growth opportunities.
