About The Position

We're building engineering products to support our new Alexa Conversational Advertising business, and we're looking for a passionate, team-oriented, and talented Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) with experience leading and building innovative, sophisticated platforms and experiences that customers love. This is a unique opportunity to get in early and drive significant portions of the technical roadmap. As a Sr. TPM you will influence the software development process across multiple engineering teams working in parallel. Successful candidates will have a strong technical background, be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and pose a deep understanding of system or service architecture and implementation details. You will have a consistent record of ownership of complex projects and demonstrated the ability to earn the trust of your partners. A candidate’s technical expertise and operational excellence will raise the bar and influence the team’s decisions and drive secure and robust solutions which have great customer experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• 3+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Responsibilities

• Influence the software development process across multiple engineering teams working in parallel.

• Manage programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• Build and evaluate system-level technical design.
• Develop and execute/deliver product and technical roadmaps.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management.
• Define KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
