Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in operations research, mathematics, statistics, data science, or other technical field
10+ years of experience
High motivation to provide decision-quality information and recommendations to senior leaders
Ability to communicate effectively across multi-functional teams
Strong quantitative and analytic abilities and critical thinking to integrate and analyze data
Familiarity working with complex and unstructured problems, and the ability to translate customer requirements and objectives into solvable mathematical or computer problems
General understanding of the United States Air Force missions and operations
Willingness to learn about DoD aerospace and joint force programs
Creativity and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
Ability to work well as part of a team
The ability to work in a secure, confined location (i.e., SCIF)
Active TS/SCI clearance

Nice To Haves

In-depth experience with the Air Force missions and operations is highly desired.
Experience with military operational assessments is also highly desired.
Graduate degree in operations research, mathematics, statistics, data science
Knowledge of military operations, capabilities, or experience in DoD aerospace and joint force programs
Familiarity with at least one major USAF or USSF training focus areas and related mission challenges
Executive briefing skills
Experience with Python, R, JMP, or other analytic software
Experience building analytic dashboards with visualizations of the underlying data
Experience with analysis or assessments

Responsibilities

Serve on an analysis team of operations research analysts and operational military subject matter experts.
Coordinate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and clarify management objectives.
Work as part of a contractor team working alongside a broader team of government and contract staff.
Develop analysis or assessment plans.
Provide decision-quality information and recommendations to senior leaders.
Communicate effectively across multi-functional teams.
Integrate and analyze data.
Translate customer requirements and objectives into solvable mathematical or computer problems.
Work in a secure, confined location (i.e., SCIF).
