About The Position

This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results. This role will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at the location(s) listed in this posting. The anticipated term of this engagement will be 6 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Performs activities related to the entire hiring cycle, including recruiting, talent evaluation and screening, job advertising and posting, talent prospecting, talent staffing and planning.
  • Develops plans for sourcing appropriate candidates, conducting the interview process and extending offers to selected candidates while maintaining a low cost per hire.
  • Manages and implements new strategies for candidate communication, including the scheduling of interviews and answering of candidate questions.
  • Builds a pipeline or network of targeted talent pools by representing the organization at employment fairs, on-campus recruiting activities, etc.
  • Partakes in ranking process of candidates with hiring manager after interviews are conducted.
  • Manages job listings on internal and external sites.
  • Counsels hiring managers regarding recruiting strategies and practices that support the goals and direction of the organization.
  • Mentors lower level team members on best practices for talent acquisition.
