Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years in technology delivery, product, or solutions architecture roles, including 6+ years leading AI/automation initiatives in enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated track record of shipping production AI solutions (e.g., LLM agents, copilots, intelligent workflows, document/process automation) with measurable business impact.
  • Strong understanding of LLM platforms and integration patterns, such as: Prompt engineering, tool/function calling, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings/vector databases.
  • Orchestration frameworks (e.g., Lang Chain, Semantic Kernel, agent frameworks) and workflow automation (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath, ServiceNow, Zapier for prototyping).
  • API and event-driven integration with enterprise systems; secure secrets management and identity (OAuth, service principals).
  • Experience establishing LLM Ops/ML Ops practices: evaluation frameworks, telemetry/observability, CI/CD for prompts and workflows, A/B testing, human-in-the-loop review.
  • Proven ability to bridge business and engineering: requirements discovery, scoping, solution design, change management, and stakeholder communication up to the executive level.
  • Working knowledge of security, compliance, and data governance for AI (data classification, PII/PHI handling, access controls, model risk management).
  • Strong understanding of virtualization platforms (e.g., Proxmox), enterprise storage systems (SAN/NAS), and backup/recovery solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience working with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), including performance tuning, high availability, backup, and recovery strategies.
  • Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages including Ansible (Windows automation), PowerShell (required), Python, and Bash.
  • Experience with modern Windows Server technologies, including Server Core, Nano Server, Windows Containers, and hybrid Azure integrations (Azure Arc, Windows Admin Center).
  • Familiarity with advanced Windows security capabilities (Shielded VMs, Defender for Endpoint/ATP) and modern file-sharing technologies (e.g., SMB over QUIC).
  • Strong experience using GitHub (or similar platforms) for version control, infrastructure-as-code workflows, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
  • Solid understanding of modern AI-assisted coding tools.
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring, performance tuning, patching systems, and configuration management frameworks.
  • Solid grasp of data center operational practices including structured cabling, hardware lifecycle management, and out-of-band access solutions.
  • Strong documentation skills with experience using tools such as Visio, Miro, or similar diagramming platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, RHCSA, or equivalent a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and manage Windows Server environments supporting core infrastructure and operations, leveraging automation.
  • Administer Windows-based systems including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related services.
  • Use Ansible, PowerShell, Python, and other automation tools to orchestrate and manage configuration, deployment, and ongoing operations of Windows and Active Directory environments.
  • Utilize Linux expertise to support cross-platform tools, system integration, and monitoring in hybrid environments.
  • Collaborate closely with network, facilities, and security teams to support integrated infrastructure across multiple data center sites.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and configuration standards to build a streamline system and improve reliability.
  • Create and maintain documentation for system designs, standard operating procedures, and incident response guides.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full stack, from hardware through OS-level services.
  • Support vulnerability remediation, patch management, and infrastructure hardening aligned with security and compliance frameworks.
  • Coordinate with vendors and assist with system upgrades, refresh cycles, and integration of modern technologies.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and be available at times to perform after-hours maintenance.
