Job Summary Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements software that runs computers and technologies like smart devices, networking equipment, or machinery | Determines systems software design requirements | Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency | Generates systems software engineering policies, standards and procedures | May participate in all aspects of software development, from detailed programming to high-level system design. We are on a 9/80 schedule (9 hour days Monday - Thursday, alternating Fridays off, opposite Fridays 8 hour days) Impact of the Role General Profile Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines Solves complex problems Works independently, receives minimal guidance May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment Essential Functions Responsible for the overall systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation and integration, and technical services and support. Designs, implements, installs, maintains, and administers infrastructures including hardware, software, and various configurations. Monitors overall performance to proactively identify potential issues and tune appropriately. Performs root cause analysis on failed components and implements corrective measures. Works with others to establish and improve processes and procedures. May have sole responsibility for projects and participate in disaster recovery exercises.

Requirements

Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience
Engineering degree required
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
