About The Position

Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is seeking a Systems Engineer Sr. As a Systems Engineer Senior, the work you’ll do at ISS will be impactful to the mission of US Army/NETCOM. You will play a crucial role in the engineering and support of the U-SIEM task. This role is 100% onsite.

Requirements

Secret clearance level
IAT Level III Certification (CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, or GCIH)
Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
5+ years of related experience
A working knowledge of Linux operating systems is required.
Five years’ experience writing technical reports related to Authorization & Accreditation (A&A), System Security Plans (SSP), security policies, or guidance.
Demonstrated proficiency with Linux, Virtualization platforms and SIEMs

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Elastic
Literate in popular flavors of Linux.
A keen understanding of virtualization platforms is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the U-SIEM Engineering Team and its customers to ensure mission deliverables are met.
Collaborate with the members of the team and coordinate with the customer as directed by the Task Lead.
Drive timely completions of work with the ability to adapt to changes in tasking assignments.
Solve varies technical issues.
Adapt to new technical challenges through research and professional abilities.
Work effectively as part of a large, distributed team.
Utilize Linux OS platform, VMWare virtualization and SIEMs as part of your day-to-day responsibilities.
