About The Position

This is an on-site position for a Sr. Systems Engineer specializing in Modeling. Active TS/SCI with CI Poly is required. The role is contingent upon contract award. The position requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field. The engineer will be responsible for configuring, deploying, and maintaining applications as code (AaC) using CI/CD pipelines in a cloud-based environment, demonstrating solid engineering rigor, and possessing expert troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills are essential, along with experience in database management, integrating applications with workflow platforms, and understanding IDAM requirements. Experience with developing integration interfaces using Python, PowerShell, and Groovy, as well as basic DevOps tooling, is also required.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly required
  • Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM field
  • Meet DoDD 8140 requirements (Security+ CE Certification)
  • Experience configuring, deploying and maintaining TeamWork Cloud and Cameo (and associated tools like Cassandra DB) as AaC using CI/CD pipeline in a cloud-based environment
  • Expertise configuring, deploying, and maintaining applications as AaC through Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
  • Ability to demonstrate solid engineering rigor
  • Expert troubleshooting and solutioning skills
  • Experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases (e.g. Cassandra, MySQL, MongoDB)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly and succinctly describe complex issues
  • Experience integrating applications with workflow, case or ticketing, or automation platforms such as ServiceNow or custom-built systems
  • Knowledge of IDAM requirements and technologies including Active Directory, SAML, OpenLDAP, OAuth 2.0, and/or OIDC
  • Demonstrated experience with building comprehensive test plans for unit and user system testing and validation
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Developing integration interfaces using Python, PowerShell, and Groovy
  • Experience and comfort with basic DevOps Tooling (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab)
