About The Position

QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Systems Engineer, ICM App Lead to join our team at APG, MD in support of our customer, Project Manager Intelligence Systems & Analytics (PM IS&A). The ICM (Information Collection Management) Lead Role is responsible for directing programmatic and technical work through the acquisition and deployment of the ICM Application.

Requirements

Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Direct experience working with complex software systems performing requirements decomposition, managing requirements, reviewing software design, and tracking software development, integration and testing.
Direct experience with intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance software systems.
Direct experience in the design, integration, configuration, and analysis of complex software systems, military electronics, computer networking, and digital and graphic display systems.
Direct experience with Department of Defense System Engineering processes.
ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Top Secret w/SCI eligibly
Bachelor’s degree required. Degree preferred in Electrical, Electronic, System, Software or Computer Engineering; Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
At least fifteen (15) years of related work experience required.

Nice To Haves

An acquisition background is highly desired.
Master’s degree may substitute three (3) years of required experience.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a team of Engineers and Test and Quality Support Personnel, provide Contract Support, and work closely with the Product Lead to successfully complete key milestones (e.g., Test-Fix-Test Model) of application procurement of Commercially Available Software.
Maintain an Integrated Master Schedule, Key Milestones, and Stakeholder (ICM Vendor, ACM-F, ATEC, PM Leadership) Engagements, while conveying risks and Project Status to senior leadership within the PM.
Responsible for working closely with the ICM Vendor, to help guide them through key acquisition milestones while providing analysis and engineering services in a consulting capacity, working closely with the government's own engineering staff members.
Responsible for the handling acquisition sensitive activities and information which includes detailed knowledge of the Commercial Software.
