We are actively seeking a talented Sr Correspondence Systems Analyst to join our Producer and Compensation Solutions team supporting the Consumer Markets Division in Newport Beach, CA. As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will play an important role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by supporting the technology platforms and business processes that enable producer onboarding, compensation administration, contracts and licensing, and credential validation. You will partner with business and technology teams to deliver solutions that support financial professionals throughout the producer lifecycle while ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational requirements. You will join a collaborative team of analysts, developers, QA engineers, and business partners who work together to modernize and enhance critical distribution and advisor services capabilities. This role provides the opportunity to work across multiple platforms supporting commissions, bonus programs, producer data management, licensing and appointments, agency hierarchies, and producer servicing operations.

Requirements

3+ years of systems analysis or business analysis experience supporting insurance, distribution, compensation, producer management, or financial services platforms.
Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
Knowledge of producer lifecycle processes, including contracts and licensing, appointments, commissions, compensation, producer onboarding, or credential management.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including Operations, Compliance, Product Management, and Information Technology.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to manage complex business processes and system integrations.
Experience supporting Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting producer compensation, commissions processing, bonus administration, agency hierarchy management, or advisor services operations.
Knowledge of insurance distribution channels, producer licensing and appointments, regulatory compliance, and credential validation processes.
Experience working with policy administration, compensation, producer management, CRM, workflow, or distribution technology platforms.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to build meaningful partnerships across business and technology organizations to deliver practical solutions to complex challenges.

Responsibilities

Accelerate business initiatives by gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements for commissions, bonus compensation, credential validation, contracts and licensing, and producer servicing capabilities.
Partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to translate complex business processes into system-ready requirements, workflows, rules, and technical specifications.
Improve operational efficiency by identifying opportunities to streamline producer onboarding, licensing, appointments, compensation processing, and exception management.
Support regulatory compliance by ensuring technology solutions align with state licensing requirements, producer appointment rules, compensation guidelines, and audit standards.
Drive cross-functional collaboration among Advisor Services, Distribution, Compliance, Operations, Product Management, and IT teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Leverage your insurance industry knowledge and analytical skills to support new product launches, compensation initiatives, operational enhancements, and platform modernization efforts.
Assist with troubleshooting production issues, conducting root cause analysis, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across multiple business-critical platforms.
