About The Position

This position is responsible for supporting enhancements and new capabilities to an existing, critical business application within Claims portfolio. As Systems Analyst, it is required you bring strong technical skills and experience of performing Systems Analysis for various product initiatives and build a backlog of systems requirements that can be assigned to various developers. You are also responsible for ensuring reviews of the requirements, design, code and help plan SIT and UAT testing as well as release. You will be working closely with the business team comprising of business analysts, business owners, QA team as well as IT team members like applications Architect, developers, product and project managers and other team members.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree and 4 years Information Technology OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 6 year Information Technology experience OR 8 years Information Technology experience.
Knowledge of application configuration
Knowledge or experience of Claims processing and Components.
Accountable for enhancements or new capabilities covering functional, non-functional and systems requirements to help build high performing, robust applications for the products.
Help conduct and facilitate design & code reviews; expertise in system design creation.
Knowledge of Big Data Analytics - HAVeN / HADOOP/ Autonomy / Vertica
Knowledge of Cloud computing / SaaS / IaaS / PaaS technologies
Knowledge of Integration Technologies - Tibco/Informatica/CAS
Knowledge of Mobile technologies - Phonegap / iOS / Android / Java / HTML5
Knowledge of Scripting Languages - BASH / PERL / PYTHON / RUBY
Service Oriented Architecture - SOAP / REST

Nice To Haves

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related
Solid knowledge of current and emerging technologies to apply it towards solutions in business applications, with possible integrations and/or data movement with existing distributed applications.

Exposure to data integration, data mapping & transformation needs with distributed applications.
Knowledge in application development platforms and/or languages (Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices).
Knowledge of Jira, Jenkins, GitHub, Sonar and Java applications..
Teamwork and collaboration.
Deep systems analysis, app dev with SDLC in agile framework with data & integration experience on modern application development platform.

Responsibilities

Supporting enhancements and new capabilities to an existing, critical business application within Claims portfolio.
Performing Systems Analysis for various product initiatives.
Building a backlog of systems requirements that can be assigned to various developers.
Ensuring reviews of the requirements, design, code.
Helping plan SIT and UAT testing as well as release.
Working closely with the business team comprising of business analysts, business owners, QA team as well as IT team members like applications Architect, developers, product and project managers and other team members.
Supporting apps operations by addressing operational, production and ad-hoc requests.
Creating detail design and resolution to the operational / production incident resolution support against tight timeframe.
