Requirements

• Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Server Infrastructure Engineer, Windows Support Engineer, or in a related/similar position.
• 5 years performing each of the following skills: Azure IaaS management; Azure Site Recovery, ARC, ANF, AKS; Azure BaaS, VMware, NetApp; Windows Server Administration; and Server Infrastructure.
• Hybrid role, ability to work from home.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement and maintain the complex, enterprise-wide Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
• Research existing and emerging technologies that align with business requirements and provide effective solutions based upon extensive experience in industry technologies and industry best practices.
• Ensure all aspects of the entire enterprise Azure environment is architecturally sound and highly available.
• Evaluate the current Azure architecture and develop action plans to make necessary improvements.
• Develop and maintain accurate support documentation in a knowledge repository.
• Perform environment performance monitoring, trending, and capacity planning for the Azure infrastructure.
• Analyze, identify, diagnose, and resolve customer issues within the 7-Eleven core infrastructure environment.
• Provide Tier 3 and Tier 4 technical support for 7-Eleven’s Azure infrastructure.
• Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to ensure the Azure environment stays operational.
• Utilize mastery of skills in at least two of the following categories: Azure IaaS management, ASR, Azure BaaS, ANF, AKS, and ARC.
• Connect on-prem to cloud data centers such as Amazon Web Service, Azure, OCI, or GCP.
• Perform diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Describe technical items to non-technical users and help team members or customers in real-time.
