About The Position

This role involves planning, designing, and implementing infrastructure changes and system upgrades. The Systems Administrator will manage and troubleshoot multiple VMware environments, provide Windows Server and Linux administration, and create STIG compliant images for various operating systems. Responsibilities also include creating, testing, and deploying software packages, providing expert-level support and mentoring to junior staff, and developing/maintaining installation and configuration procedures. The role requires utilizing scripting for task automation, performing hardware maintenance/repair, ensuring proper planning and execution of major projects, and providing advanced administration of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Controllers. This position requires an existing/active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph and is not a remote work opportunity.

  • Satellite server administration.
  • Ansible playbook writing.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, designs, and implements infrastructure changes and system upgrades.
  • Manages and troubleshoots multiple VMware environments.
  • Provides Windows Server and Linux administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Creates STIG compliant images for Windows Desktop, Windows Server, and Linux OS.
  • Creates, tests, and deploys software packages using software deployment products such as SCCM, PDQ, etc.
  • Provides expert level support and mentoring for Mid and Junior System Administrator personnel.
  • Develops and maintains installation and configuration procedures for system and software changes.
  • Utilizes scripting to automate common tasks.
  • Performs hardware maintenance/repair activities.
  • Ensures proper planning and execution of major projects/maintenance activities.
  • Provides advanced level administration and troubleshooting of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Controllers.
