About The Position

Join Medtronic’s Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization as a Senior Supply Chain Planning Program Manager, where you will play a key role in advancing Medtronic’s supply chain capabilities by leading strategic initiatives focused on planning excellence, operational performance, and end-to-end supply chain transformation. You will partner across functions and operating units to design and implement initiatives that improve service levels, strengthen supply resilience, optimize cost, and enable scalable growth across Medtronic’s global portfolio of therapies and technologies. This position can be located at any Medtronic facility within the United States. The role reports to the Senior Planning Manager and collaborates closely with Global Supply Chain leaders, enterprise functions, and operating units to plan and execute high-impact initiatives that enhance the performance and agility of Medtronic’s global supply network. As a Senior Supply Chain Planning Program Manager, you will lead strategic initiatives that enhance the performance, agility, and scalability of Medtronic’s global supply chain. You will work across a highly matrixed organization to drive alignment, deliver measurable results, and support the successful implementation of new capabilities and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 7 years of relevant supply chain experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant supply chain experience
  • Experience with global supply chain network design, optimization, or large-scale implementation initiatives
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional projects in a matrixed organization
  • Experience leading organizational change and influencing stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
  • Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic supply chain transformation initiatives aligned with enterprise and business priorities to improve service performance, optimize cost structures, and strengthen planning capabilities across the network.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and structured project management methodologies to address complex operational challenges and deliver sustainable performance improvements.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement by sharing results, best practices, and lessons learned across supply chain teams and business units.
  • Manage medium to large-scale projects or major workstreams from initiation through successful completion, including defining scope, developing project charters, establishing timelines, and tracking milestones and deliverables.
  • Identify and proactively managing program risks, dependencies, and issues to ensure successful delivery of initiatives and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Assess organizational readiness for change and develop structured change management plans that support adoption of new processes, tools, and operating models.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Finance, Global Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Quality, Marketing, Distribution, Customer Service, and IT to drive alignment and coordinated execution across the enterprise.
  • Provide clear and consistent communication to Global Supply Chain and Operations leadership on project status, milestones, risks, and outcomes.
