About The Position

We are seeking a Sr. Supply Chain Planner (SCP) to join our dynamic F35 Aperture Electronics team with duties as both a Business Area and Factory-Facing Planner. The SCP is the focal point for all supply chain activities, including the execution of programs and the coordination of new program and product launches, as well as working to develop and implement long-term supply chain strategies. The SCP assists with the reporting of key performance indicators, performance data, and other metrics, as well as identifying and escalating issues as required. The candidate must possess an understanding of procurement and planning processes & tools, be capable of troubleshooting process failures to ensure program success, and rely upon their experience and judgment to organize, plan, and accomplish department objectives with a creative, continuous improvement approach. The SCP will plan, prepare, issue, and control material requirements in conjunction with the production schedule, support risk management activities impacting manufacturing by working with cross-functional teams and ensure that shipments are accomplished in accordance with Contract/Master Delivery Schedule (MDS) commitments. The Senior Planner will also work closely with the cross functional team: Operations Program Manager, Product Stream Manager, and Program Quality as well as the Value Stream Specialist and Manufacturing Production Controllers to ensure product is flowing through the factory. This position requires good oral and written communication skills and the ability to be a clear and thorough communicator.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in Supply Chain supporting Aperture Electronics.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle ERP, Paperless MES, Data View, and PLM.
  • Good understanding of MS Office.
  • Secret clearance or at minimum the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities
