The Sr. Supply Chain Planner/Manager plans, analyzes, and initiates supply-chain activities—including work orders, purchase requisitions, transfers, and rework—to align supply with forecasts and sales orders. The role investigates stock-outs, late deliveries, and overstock situations, identifies root causes, and recommends improvements to reduce inventory exposure and maximize revenue. It also monitors vendor delivery compliance and analyzes late shipments. The position works across cross-functional teams to support on-time customer deliveries, prioritize incoming deliveries, reserve incoming supply, and manage outgoing orders against customer request and promise dates. It participates in monthly SIOP activities, communicates and helps resolve supply-chain disruptions, and supports direct-sponsored projects and process improvements, including cost analysis. The role supports new product availability by integrating new product introduction requirements—such as initial stocking quantities, accessories, and spare parts—into production plans. It coordinates NPI planning and execution with stakeholders and uses ERP, MRP, BOM, analytics, and reporting tools to analyze and communicate supply-chain information.
