About The Position

The Sr. Supervisor will lead Logistics operations at the Goleta, CA facility, ensuring daily execution aligns with safety protocols and customer requirements. This role oversees all logistics functions, implements strategies to meet service-level commitments, and serve as the primary Logistics representative to departments such as Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Operations, Engineering, and Quality. The Sr. Supervisor drives continuous improvement across standard logistics processes including receiving, storage, distribution, and shipping while maintaining a focus on safety. The role requires strong collaboration with internal partners and Third‑Party Logistics providers, as well as proficiency with Raytheon business systems to monitor performance, resolve issues, and support site-wide and regional needs.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • Experience in Logistics, inventory management, property, contracts, procurement, finance, program management, or equivalent
  • People management/leadership skills
  • U.S. Citizen - the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the logistics team
  • Lead daily logistics operations to ensure accuracy, availability, and compliance
  • Supervise a team of logistics personnel, including hiring, training, performance management, and developing future leaders
  • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, material audits, and root‑cause/corrective actions
  • Ensure timely material flow to production, kitting, and shipping/receiving areas by coordinating closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Planning
  • Monitor inventory health metrics (accuracy, cycle count performance, picking and shipments) and implement improvement actions
  • Support audits and compliance activities, including property management, classified material handling, and recordkeeping requirements
  • Drive standardization of warehouse practices, including labeling, storage methods, material traceability, tool use and SAP/PRISM transaction discipline
  • Ensure adherence to all company processes, security requirements, and government regulations
