Sr Strategic Insight Analyst
About The Position
Pretium Packaging, founded in 1992, is a leading supplier of injection-blow molded plastic containers, known for delivering superior quality, value, and customer service. With 19 manufacturing locations across North America, we provide innovative, high-performance packaging solutions to a diverse portfolio of brand owners in the U.S. and Canada. We are looking for a Senior Strategic Insights Analyst to lead complex business analyses and develop strategic recommendations that influence organizational priorities and executive decision-making. This role will serve as a key advisor to business leaders, partnering closely with the Strategic Insights Product Owner to deliver high-impact insights and strategic initiatives and translate data into actionable business strategies. This position is remote with approximately 15% travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate strategy, business analytics, finance, or related disciplines.
- Strong experience with Power BI.
- Experience leading projects.
- Demonstrated experience developing executive-level recommendations and business cases.
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and business analysis capabilities.
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Strong communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Proven ability to influence business decisions through data-driven recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Leading the development of business cases, opportunity assessments, and strategic recommendations for key business initiatives.
- Conducting complex analyses to identify growth opportunities, operational improvements, and strategic risks.
- Developing financial models, forecasts, scenario analyses, and investment evaluations.
- Creating executive-level presentations and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Facilitating decision-making processes by evaluating alternatives, tradeoffs, and business impacts.
- Partnering directly with business leaders to understand challenges and identify opportunities for value creation.
- Leading cross-functional analytical projects from initiation through recommendation delivery.
- Mentoring Junior Strategic Insights Analysts and provide guidance on analytical methodologies and business problem-solving.
- Collaborating with analytics teams to ensure recommendations are supported by trusted data and sound analysis.
- Contributing to the development of strategic planning processes and analytical frameworks.
