About The Position

The Sr. Staff Enterprise Architect – Corporate Systems leads the vision and roadmap for Insulet’s enterprise platforms across ERP, Finance, HR, Quality, Data, and Integration. This role drives business value by simplifying systems, maturing capabilities, and designing scalable architectures, while advancing AI-enabled solutions. As a key advisor, they provide architectural governance and direction across major transformation initiatives, reporting to the VP of Enterprise Architecture. The Sr. Staff Enterprise Architect – Corporate Systems is responsible for defining and advancing Insulet’s enterprise architecture strategy and roadmaps across the corporate systems portfolio, including ERP/Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Quality/Regulatory, Data, and Enterprise Integration. This role drives business outcomes through simplification, capability maturity, portfolio rationalization, scalable target-state architectures, and pragmatic adoption of AI-enabled capabilities across enterprise workflows while providing architectural direction, standards, and governance across major transformation initiatives. This is a full-time exempt position reporting to the Vice President of Enterprise Architecture.

Requirements

  • Significant experience with SAP and its capabilities for finance, supply chain/procurement, manufacturing/operations, order to cash, quality/compliance, asset management, and related data and analytics capabilities.
  • Significant experience with HCM systems, with Workday preferred.
  • Experience with enterprise integration platforms, with MuleSoft preferred.
  • Experience with Quality Management/Compliance/Regulatory systems. Arena, TrackWise, Veeva, and Polarion preferred.
  • Significant exposure to CRM and data management platforms. Salesforce and Databricks preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise/business architecture frameworks and methods such as TOGAF, Zachman, BIZBOK, or equivalent, including how to apply them to AI-enabled business capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect business strategy, operating models, process design, data flows, application portfolios, transformation roadmaps, and AI use cases grounded in enterprise data and workflow realities.
  • Working knowledge of AI/GenAI/Agentic AI concepts and enterprise application patterns, including intelligent assistants, workflow automation, document intelligence, knowledge retrieval, and vendor AI capabilities across platforms such as SAP, Workday, Salesforce, quality systems, and data platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • A strategic, inspirational leader who operates with an enterprise mindset, challenges the status quo, and aligns organizations behind a clear architectural vision tied to measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and change leadership, with the ability to build trust, navigate ambiguity, and influence decisions across executives, business leaders, and delivery teams.
  • Engineering Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years of relevant IT, enterprise applications, or product development experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives, shaping target-state architectures, and guiding complex cross-functional change.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and own architecture strategy, principles, standards, and roadmaps for assigned domains to improve business capability maturity, reduce redundancy, and enable sustainable transformation.
  • Translate business priorities into target-state architectures, transition plans, and investment-aligned technology direction, including business capability, value stream, and system landscape views.
  • Define architecture requirements, decision frameworks, and acceptance criteria that guide solution design and support consistent delivery outcomes across programs and platforms.
  • Drive portfolio rationalization and platform evolution by assessing current-state capabilities, business value, functional overlap, costs, and vendor options, and by recommending invest, consolidate, replace, or retire actions.
  • Define enterprise data, process, and integration guardrails across the corporate systems landscape to improve interoperability, data quality, end-to-end process effectiveness, and readiness for AI-enabled use cases.
  • Provide architectural leadership in the selection of platforms, third-party solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities, including copilots, workflow automation, and decision support aligned to enterprise direction and business value.
  • Lead architecture forums, review boards, and working groups; manage standards and exceptions; and influence decisions across stakeholders to achieve coherent, scalable enterprise outcomes.
