About The Position

For Engineering services in the Project Management area. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree with eight (8) years of experience as an Engineer within the pharmaceutical or regulated industry. Specialized expertise in industrial chilled water systems, cooling towers, and HVAC in a pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing environment is essential. The position also requires bilingual skills (English & Spanish) and Project Management skills. The shift is administrative and according to business needs. Experience is needed in supporting OEFM Electronic Forms or similar electronic quality and facilities-management systems, managing pest-control programs within a regulated manufacturing environment, and working with Quality Systems (Deviations, CAPA Management, Change Controls, and controlled documentation). The ideal candidate will possess multitasking, scientific, and creative skills, thrive in an environment of healthy competition and teamwork, be ethical, and utilize the scientific method.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and optimize Preventive & Predictive Maintenance job plans for HVAC, process chilled water, and cooling tower systems
  • Provide primary support for Quality Systems activities — deviations, CAPAs, Change Controls, and related documentation — ensuring records are complete, accurate, and inspection-ready
  • Investigate and document deviations following applicable SOPs, and drive CAPAs to timely, effective closure with the Quality team
  • Support creation, completion, review, routing, and tracking of OEFM electronic forms across F&E, Quality, and cross-functional teams
  • Support the transformation of the site's Pest Control program, coordinating with external vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Evaluate proposed Change Controls to facilities, utilities, equipment, and critical utilities, and maintain records to support regulatory inspections
  • Supervise and review the work of contractors/suppliers on ongoing operations and capital projects
  • Serve as a peer-recognized technical expert in chilled water, cooling towers, and HVAC, setting methodology for the area
  • Partner with project managers, consultants, architects, and engineering firms to deliver design/engineering projects on schedule, budget, and quality targets
