About The Position

The Sr Specialist Talent Acquisition serves as a liaison between Talent Acquisition Leadership, on-site recruitment team, Direct Marketing Leadership, Human Resources, and Learning & Development teams to ensure the outlined recruitment process is followed. This role performs full life cycle recruiting activities in a high-volume recruiting environment, handling a diverse requisition load including volume level roles in multiple markets as well as salaried or professional positions. The specialist will drive an engaging candidate experience, ensure a speedy and successful time to fill, and proactively source, network, and market job opportunities to build robust pipelines. They will act as a talent brand ambassador, set and deploy recruiting strategies that grow passive and diverse candidate sets, and build strong partnerships with hiring leaders and HR Business Partner teams. Additionally, the role involves providing market insights and recommendations to the business as a Talent advisor.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting/staffing
  • Conducting phone or in-person interviews
  • Working in applicant tracking systems
  • Experience in call center or other high volume recruitment
  • Experience in Corporate recruiting - exempt roles
  • Must operate with a high level of integrity – ability to handle confidential information in a professional and data safe manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Shown abilities to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to make decisions under high pressure and changing priorities
  • Ability to learn quickly and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong persuasive, influencing, and decision-making abilities.
  • Independent, proactive, and able to take initiative to solve problems.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office software required.
  • Strong work ethic and passion for delivering outstanding levels of service.
  • Must have availability to work flexible hours
  • Some local and regional travel will be required

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a liaison between Talent Acquisition Leadership, on-site recruitment team, Direct Marketing Leadership, Human Resources, and Learning & Development teams to ensure the outlined recruitment process is followed.
  • Reports any gaps and/or opportunities in the process to Talent Acquisition Leadership.
  • Perform full life cycle recruiting activities in a high-volume recruiting environment (Source to Offer).
  • Handle a diverse requisition load including volume level roles in multiple markets as well as salaried or professional positions.
  • Use all available selection tools and maintain compliance with our selection processes and policies.
  • Drive an engaging candidate experience through all touchpoints of the recruiting process.
  • Drive the recruitment process to ensure a speedy and successful time to fill.
  • Proactively source, network, and market job opportunities to build robust pipelines.
  • Continuously be a talent brand ambassador by celebrating and sharing the advantages of working for Hilton Grand Vacations as an employer of choice.
  • Set and deploy recruiting strategies that grow passive and diverse sets of candidates.
  • Engage in activities that grow employee referrals and internal candidate pools.
  • Build strong partnerships and collaboration with hiring leaders and HR Business Partner teams.
  • Update Talent Acquisition Leadership on key progress made in candidate pools and/or any barriers that can be overcome together.
  • Ensure regular communication to provide updates on status and progress toward hiring targets.
  • Act as a Talent advisor to the business by providing market insights and recommendations for solutions to fill positions.
