About The Position

L3Harris is seeking a Sr. Specialist, Systems Engineer – Mission Systems – Aircraft Capability Extension System (Aces) to join our Greenville, TX team. This position is responsible for Requirements, Development Support, and Integration of ACES Remote Operator Workstation capabilities multiple platforms and programs. Responsible for issue investigation and resolution, submitting Bid and proposals, and documenting status and issues in Jira/Confluence.

Requirements

  • Considerable Systems or Software Engineering experience as a Subject Matter Expert working with Operator Interfaces.
  • Comprehensive Knowledge to write capability/product requirement specifications.
  • Knowledge of remote operations infrastructure/ROE.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Will use IBM Doors Requirements Management tool.
  • Well versed in JIRA/Confluence and agile process.
  • Experience using Power BI stats.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with six (6) years of prior Hands-on experience with RC-135 Operator interfaces and/or Remote Operator interfaces.
  • Graduate Degree with four (4) years of prior Hands-on experience with RC-135 Operator interfaces and/or Remote Operator interfaces.
  • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight (8) years of prior Hands-on experience with RC-135 Operator interfaces and/or Remote Operator interfaces.
  • Must have an active Secret clearance at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret with SCI.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Active Top Secret with SCI.
  • Security+ Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Requirements, Development Support, and Integration of ACES Remote Operator Workstation capabilities multiple platforms and programs.
  • Responsible for issue investigation and resolution
  • Submitting Bid and proposals
  • Documenting status and issues in Jira/Confluence
  • Work with customers, system engineers and system architects to develop requirements.
  • Test and troubleshoot Operator Interfaces on various platforms and programs.
  • Communicate effectively both within and outside of the organization to include explaining requirements to software developers, customers, and vendors.
  • Working independently in a team environment through an entire build cycle.
  • Understanding systems engineering life cycle.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
