About The Position

L3Harris is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a portfolio of programs within the Global Networks business area, focused on space communication solutions. Global Networks delivers secure communications and networking capabilities across space- and ground-based platforms, supporting U.S. Government, allied, and international defense customers. The portfolio spans active development, production, and sustainment of satellite communications systems, space networking architectures, and associated ground infrastructure.

The Program Manager has accountability for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of assigned programs while driving business results and customer satisfaction. The role serves as the primary customer interface, leading program reviews, managing expectations, and maintaining transparent communication throughout the program lifecycle. It also collaborates with internal stakeholders, including engineering, operations, contracts, and senior leadership, to meet program objectives and business commitments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field and at least 6 years of experience in program management or a related discipline within the defense industry; alternatively, a graduate degree and at least 4 years of prior related experience.
• Active DoD Security Clearance, or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to travel up to 10% annually.

• Experience across phases of project and program management, from proposal and ensuing negotiations through contract award, planning, execution, and closeout.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and its application.
• Demonstrated experience with the program integrated master schedule (IMS), including data input/output and progress tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of assigned programs, managing cost, schedule, and technical performance in accordance with contractual and internal requirements.
• Prepare and deliver program status reviews to leadership covering financials, schedule, risks, opportunities, contract activity, and technical performance.
• Serve as the primary customer point of contact, maintaining regular communication and managing expectations throughout the program lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain program baselines and milestones, identify variances, and drive corrective action as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, contractual obligations, applicable regulations, and industry standards.
• Lead and develop cross-functional program teams, promoting collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
• Manage integrated master schedules, risk registers, and action item tracking across concurrent workstreams.
• Lead contract closeout activities, including verification of deliverables, final billing coordination, customer property disposition, and data submittal completion.
