We are seeking a talented Senior Engineer – Body Features Integration & Validation to support the development, integration, and validation of advanced body features for next-generation Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) platforms. This role focuses on vehicle body electronics and customer-facing body features including closures, lighting, access systems, occupant controls, smart actuators, comfort systems, and connected body functions. The engineer will drive feature integration and validation activities across HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), SIL (Software-in-the-Loop), bench, and vehicle environments. The ideal candidate has strong experience in body control systems, ECU integration, diagnostics, vehicle networking, and SDV architectures with a passion for delivering robust customer-facing vehicle experiences. Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: Own integration of all domain controllers and distributed ECUs into the vehicle E/E architecture with focus in Body systems. Own Software Integration & Validation per vehicle software maturity, performance and release gates and approve vehicle integration builds (per milestones). Integrate and validate vehicle body features across prototype, bench, HIL, SIL, and vehicle test environments. Support feature integration for smart access systems, power doors and liftgates, interior and exterior lighting, window and sunroof controls, seat and occupant comfort systems, Body Control Module (BCM) features, passive entry/passive start systems Coordinate software and hardware compatibility across body ECUs, gateways, and zonal controllers. Support features bring-up, calibration validation, and vehicle-level functionality testing. Validation responsible for network topology, gateway routing strategies, signal database integrity (DBC, ARXML), bandwidth utilization and bus loading Validate and manage vehicle communication across CAN / CAN-FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet (100/1000BASE-T1), FlexRay network framework Validate and release bootloader compatibility, flashing strategy, partitioning strategy (AUTOSAR Classic/Adaptive), Memory and CPU utilization budgets Develop and execute HIL and SIL test cases for body feature functionality and subsystem interactions. Validate feature behaviors, diagnostics, fault handling, and software integration using simulation environments. Validate wake-up/sleep strategies across ECUs, ensure no unintended current draw or parasitic drain and correct power state transitions during vehicle power cycles, start/stop/sleep, OTA updates/events Validate UDS/DoIP response timing, diagnostic sessions do not degrade functional performance, DTC accuracy and freeze frame integrity and robustness.
