About The Position

The Sr. Specialist, Global Trade Compliance is a full-time position within the Corporate Global Trade function at L3Harris reporting to the Director, Global Trade Compliance. This position can be located in the Arlington, VA or Melbourne, FL offices. The Sr. Specialist will support the System Enhancements team which is responsible for acquisition, implementation, administration and management of Global Trade tools. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience with export licensing, strong technical fluency across modern data and workflow tools, and the discipline to manage records for enhanced compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior experience using Microsoft automation tools (Power Automate, PowerApps, Power BI)
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior experience using Snowflake or Palantir Foundry

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrator level support (e.g., user access management, troubleshooting, data integrity monitoring) and operate as a subject matter expert for Global Trade tools such as CES, EASE, and Power Automate
  • Develop and provide training to Global Trade teams and other functional stakeholders
  • Validate authorization records data in Global Trade tools for compliance, accuracy, and completeness
  • Monitor authorization records to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and escalate recordkeeping issues to the Authorization Owner and Empowered Official
  • Generate and analyze reports to identify and mitigate policy and regulatory risks
  • Support preparation for audits, assessments, investigations, and resulting corrective actions closures
  • Manage configurations and alignment of Global Trade tools
  • Partner with Legal, IT, and Compliance to continuously improve recordkeeping policies, processes, and practices
  • Validate data accuracy across Global Trade tools and identify trends, gaps, or risks
  • Develop workflows to support automation, data intake, or Global Trade-facing compliance tools
  • Support data governance efforts by drafting data standards, validation rules, and audit trails for trade-related datasets
  • Other duties, as assigned
