We are seeking a Senior Diagnostics Integration Engineer to own the design, implementation, testing, validation, and release sign-off of vehicle diagnostic systems across complex EV platforms. Candidate will ensure that ECU diagnostics, fault handling, and service communication are fully validated across CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet networks, and meet production readiness standards for vehicle release. This role is central to ensuring vehicles are diagnosable, serviceable, and production-safe, with clear accountability for diagnostic system quality and release approval. Candidate will define how all vehicle systems diagnostics robustly on the platform —directly shaping the reliability, scalability, and performance of the entire vehicle platform. Your decisions influence architecture direction across current and next-generation EV systems. Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: Define and implement diagnostics architecture across vehicle domains powertrain, energy, ADAS, chassis, body, infotainment etc. Own end-to-end validation and sign-off for diagnostics systems to ensure diagnostic features meet release readiness criteria before SOP (Start of Production) Establish acceptance criteria for ECU diagnostics functionality, validate fault handling behavior along with service and manufacturing diagnostic flows Own validation execution across multiple environments SIL, HIL (hardware-in-the-loop benches) and vehicle integration testing Design scalable regression test suites for ECU communication systems Ensure consistent behavior across simulated and real-world environments Validate multi-ECU communication across distributed vehicle systems across powertrain, BMS, ADAS, chassis, body systems Perform deep debugging of network issues such as CAN bus load saturation, message timing drift, signal corruption or loss, gateway routing failures etc. Analyze ECU interactions under stress, fault injection, and edge conditions Use diagnostic protocols (UDS – ISO 14229) to validate ECU behavior Analyze large-scale CAN/Ethernet logs for intermittent failures, cross-ECU timing mismatches, system-level integration issues Coordinate integration across Powertrain / Electrification (BMS, inverter, charging), Body & Comfort, ADAS / AD compute platforms, Infotainment & Connectivity, Central Compute / Zonal Controllers Validate that system behavior meets system requirement specifications (SRS) under nominal conditions, boundary conditions, fault injection scenarios, high bus load scenarios, low voltage and cold crank conditions Ensure feature-level integration synchronization, power mode management, wake-up/sleep strategy robustness. Own vehicle-level regression test planning, drive root cause analysis of cross-domain issues and help support integration war-room activities during DV/PV builds.
