Sr. Specialist, Bus Process Improvement

This role provides short-term / long-term, on-site support for maintaining facility operations. The Specialist interacts daily with third-party providers and external/internal customers. They provide support to facility management on all Core Distribution functions related to systems, processes, procedures, work instructions, training plans, metrics, and other related projects within the department. The Specialist attends and represents the department at internal and external customer meetings. They also plan and conduct on-site/off-site training for all Distribution Centers.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Associate must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions
- Advanced knowledge and application of PKMS
- Advanced knowledge and application of Future 3
- Advanced knowledge and application of JDE
- Advanced knowledge and application of GQRS
- Advanced knowledge and application of ARE/ARS
- Advanced knowledge and application of Microsoft Office Applications
- Advanced knowledge and application of Visio
- Advanced knowledge and application of System hardware and software used within the Distribution Centers, including scanners, barcode printers and network printers
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Forklift Certified
- Three to five years experience in a warehouse or systems environment or in project management
- Able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.

Responsibilities
- Performs new facility launches and system implementations
- Identifies and implements best practices within multiple facilities
- Develops and writes new processes
- Promotes and performs process improvements
- Writes work instructions
- Creates and maintains project plans
- Plans, coordinates and provides training to all levels of associates
- Provides mentoring and coaching as necessary
- Leads teams as required
- Compiles data to create reports
- Analyzes metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Prepares and delivers presentations to management and executives
- Coordinates, attends and documents internal and external customer meetings
- Operates various types of material handling equipment
- Assists management in meeting corporate and departmental goals and objectives
- Supports corporate policies and departmental policies
- Supports EMS/QMS policies and procedures
- Supports health and safety policies
