About The Position

The Project Management Senior Specialist (L4) is a senior-level professional responsible for driving cross-functional alignment across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and program management to deliver on-time, cost-effective, and high-quality results for TDL programs at our Carlsbad, CA location. This role serves as the central operations integrator ensuring execution against program commitments while balancing operational efficiency, cost control, and customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for developing and communicating execution plans, managing daily execution, and driving improvements to systems, solutions, and work practices that enhance overall business and operational performance. The Project Management Senior Specialist is both a tactical executor and strategic influencer, capable of resolving day-to-day operational blockers while shaping long-term readiness, capability, and scalability. This individual will explain, interpret, and gain cooperation on policies, practices, and processes while ensuring alignment across impacted functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

  • Understanding and utilization of continuous improvement practices.
  • Understanding of and experience working with root cause problem solving methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to isolate a problem and work toward resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively across functional departments to ensure efficient transition of hardware through the factory.
  • Develop recovery plans when issues arise, coordinating corrective actions and escalating cross-functional blockers that impact schedule, cost, or quality to restore performance.
  • Understand, communicate, and enforce safety regulations and requirements applicable to the manufacturing environment.
  • Ensure all components and materials are properly handled, including the use of ESD totes, dividers, and other required safeguards.
  • Continually review and enforce the use and maintenance of work instructions, routers, logs, scrap tickets, training matrices, calibration requirements, and company procedures.
  • Collaborate with Senior Operations Managers on short-, medium-, and long-term forecasts and product roadmaps.
  • Partner with project managers on Earned Value Management (EVM), risk registers, mitigation plans, operational deliverables, and program milestones.
  • Identify and lead initiatives that improve throughput, yield, cost, and safety performance.
