About The Position

The Sr. Solutions Architect, End User Computing (EUC), enables Presidio account teams on Modern Platforms EUC strategy and supports client and vendor planning and development. The role meets with clients to develop statements of work, bills of materials, and presentations, and works as part of sales and technical teams to deliver customer solutions. This is a remote position based anywhere in the United States, with occasional travel. The position also provides work direction to the solutions architect vertical, serves as a primary escalation path for solutions architects and clients, and helps advance processes, training, and new products and solutions. The architect collaborates with Consulting Engineers on project delivery and keeps engineering managers informed about status, impediments, escalations, and resource needs.

Requirements

At least 7 years of experience with AWS EUC solutions, specifically WorkSpaces Personal, WorkSpaces Applications, and migration/replatform experience, including AWS core third-party offerings around Citrix Core on CMI and Horizon on Core V1.
General knowledge of and ability to discuss major EUC products and solutions, primarily Citrix DaaS, NetScaler, Microsoft AVD/erdio, and Omnissa Horizon 8, Horizon Cloud, and Workspace ONE.
Previous consulting and presales experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting solutions to customers, responding to RFPs/RFQs, and developing written proposals.
Strong adherence to SLAs and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Excellent documentation and standardization skills.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience.
At least 7 years of delivery and architecture experience with Citrix and the EUC ecosystem.
At least 5 years of experience with one or more EUC architectures, including virtual applications and desktops, VMware Horizon, Horizon Cloud, NetScaler, Citrix Cloud, AVD, Azure, and/or AWS WorkSpaces.
Ability to present and communicate with staff at all levels, from Helpdesk to C-level.
Commitment to continuous improvement of the client experience and development of Presidio’s corporate technical expertise.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with AWS ProServ.
Citrix, AWS, AVD, and Omnissa Horizon technology certifications.
Additional experience with EUC providers such as VMware, AWS, and Microsoft.
3–5 years of experience with other EUC vendors and solutions, such as IGEL, Nexthink, ControlUp, Island.io, Liquidware, FSLogix, or VDI monitoring solutions.
Experience in a similar team lead capacity or management role.

Responsibilities

Work with Presidio account teams on Modern Platforms EUC strategy and attend customer meetings as part of the sales and technical team.
Collect business and technical requirements and lead whiteboard conversations.
Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
Support proof-of-concept efforts and create bills of materials.
Create and deliver proposals, statements of work, and other materials as needed.
Assist the Consulting Engineer team with project delivery.
Work with minimal direction in a team environment to drive business.
Provide daily work direction to the solutions architect vertical.
Serve as the primary escalation path for solutions architects and clients, engaging upper management when necessary.
Assist with pre- and post-sales calls with sales teams and clients, including IKO and EKO meetings.
Provide regular status updates to engineering managers regarding issues, impediments, escalations, and resource needs.
Identify improvements and directly influence training and validation of new processes.
Contribute to developing new products and solutions.
Attend client meetings as needed to review high-priority issues and provide or accept guidance on issues affecting client infrastructure.
Provide management with feedback on process improvements and areas of concern.
Perform other duties as assigned.
