About The Position

Join an industry leading team performing challenging and meaningful work. Trellix is supporting a critical U.S. Public Sector customer in the planning, deployment, migration, operation, and sustainment of key endpoint security systems comprised of Trellix and third-party technologies. The Professional Services Security Consultant will report to the Senior Manager of the Professional Services Delivery team. The Professional Services Security Consultant will be an onsite professional services consultant who will be focused on daily deployments, operations and maintenance of Trellix solutions in the customer environment. This consultant also serves as a cybersecurity Subject-Matter Expert and advises the customer of cybersecurity matters. The consultant also communicates, coordinates, and facilitates problem resolution and other customer issues with Trellix Customer Success Managers, Technical Support Engineers, and Professional Services management. The endpoint security solution consultant will work with the customer and diverse stakeholders throughout the customer organization to create technical project plans, schedules, test plans, deployment plans, and migration plans to evolve the customer’s systems to the next generation capabilities. Candidates should have experience in large-scale operational environments focusing on cyber defense along with experience performing incident analysis, developing defensive capabilities, and designing and implementing security solutions. This is a Full time onsite role at Shaw AFB, SC in a classified environment. You will be responsible for developing and delivering detailed IT solutions through consulting project activities from client identification through to final invoicing. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Work leadership may be provided by assigning work and resolving problems. As a Professional Services consultant, you will be responsible for consulting project activities from project initiation through project completion. A Professional Services consultant is expected to interface with internal and external customers and is expected to develop professional relationships that will enable them to achieve their goals.

Requirements

  • Experience in large-scale operational environments focusing on cyber defense.
  • Experience performing incident analysis, developing defensive capabilities, and designing and implementing security solutions.
  • TS/SCI Clearance Required.
  • 5+ years of experience with the Trellix Endpoint Security Suite.
  • Currently hold an adjudicated Secret Clearance and qualify for a TS/SCI clearance.
  • BA/BS +4 years recent specialized or AA/AS +6years recent specialized or a major cert + 8 years recent specialized.
  • Active DoD 8570 or DoD 8140 compliant cybersecurity certification.
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated and passionate about cybersecurity and information technology.
  • Experience with enterprise network technology planning, deployment, user migration and operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in cybersecurity operations, cybersecurity engineering, systems engineering and/or Windows and Linux systems administration.
  • Experience with Trellix Endpoint Security (ENS), e Policy Orchestrator (ePO), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Threat Intelligence Exchange (TIE), and Data Exchange Layer (DXL).
  • Experience with Active Directory, Databases, Virtualization, Cloud Services [i.e., AWS, Azure]) and enterprise networks.
  • 5+ years in a technical capacity.
  • Experience with configuration of debugging, event generation, and logging functionality within the application and operating systems, using Syslog or flat-file generation.
  • Aptitude and ability to develop expertise with Trellix products.
  • Familiarity with cyber threat identification, management, mitigation, and response strategies.

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Windows Server 2016/2019.

  • Understanding of Department of War and Federal Government Agency standards.
  • Experience with Federal Government and DoW IT security requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Daily deployments, operations and maintenance of Trellix solutions in the customer environment.
  • Serve as a cybersecurity Subject-Matter Expert and advise the customer of cybersecurity matters.
  • Communicate, coordinate, and facilitate problem resolution and other customer issues with Trellix Customer Success Managers, Technical Support Engineers, and Professional Services management.
  • Create technical project plans, schedules, test plans, deployment plans, and migration plans to evolve the customer’s systems to the next generation capabilities.
  • Develop and deliver detailed IT solutions through consulting project activities from client identification through to final invoicing.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Work with a group of customer organizations to deploy, integrate, and operationalize Trellix’s Endpoint Security Suite and capabilities across a broad enterprise.
  • Write technical documentation and briefings.
  • Lead and/or participate in technical exchange meetings.
  • Collaborate with end users as well as inter-agency, intra-agency, and internal Trellix stakeholders.
  • Develop engineering artifacts such as system design diagrams, data flow diagrams, test plans, test reports, etc.
  • Lead or participate in development testing, debugging, pre-deployment testing, and post-deployment testing.
  • Lead or participate in certification and accreditation and/or access and authorization processes.
  • Lead or participate in deployment planning and execution.
  • Analyze technical/integration requirements and develop technical solutions for Customer review and consideration, and once approved, integrate into the customer's infrastructure.
  • Lead or participate in system configuration, tuning, and policy development.
