About The Position

The client is seeking a highly experienced Senior SDET with 8-10 years in the field, specifically requiring 5 years of core test automation framework development. Critical requirement is strong expertise in AWS and cloud-focused testing, alongside deep proficiency in test automation for Web/UI, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and Mobile applications. Client wants one person who can confidently automate testing across the entire application stack - covering AWS cloud platforms, web UI (using Selenium to automate clicks and form fills), backend APIs (verifying how systems communicate via web services) and mobile apps (using Appium on real phones or simulators) - from the front screen all the way to the cloud servers. The ideal candidate must be skilled in creating and maintaining robust automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cucumber with BDD, Appium, and SoapUI, coupled with strong programming in Java and SQL. Client wants someone who can design and build the entire, well-organized testing foundation for the whole team - not just write random scripts - using Java as the primary language and JavaScript when needed, writing tests in plain English with BDD and Cucumber so non-technical members can follow along, while also being skilled in complex SQL queries to verify database changes, and finally bringing everything together - Selenium for web, Appium for mobile, SoapUI for APIs, and Cucumber for reporting - into one smooth-running automation system. This person must have solid experience working in CI/CD pipelines, including scheduling jobs in Jenkins and executing automated regression suites. They are looking for a technical leader who can design and execute complex test strategies, including creating test plans, managing test data, and analyzing results to identify root causes of defects.

Requirements

8-10 years of experience in the field.
5 years of core test automation framework development.
Strong expertise in AWS and cloud-focused testing.
Deep proficiency in test automation for Web/UI, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and Mobile applications.
Skilled in creating and maintaining robust automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cucumber with BDD, Appium, and SoapUI.
Strong programming in Java and SQL.
Skilled in complex SQL queries.
Solid experience working in CI/CD pipelines, including scheduling jobs in Jenkins.
Experience executing automated regression suites.
Ability to design and execute complex test strategies.

SDET SME.
